Rix Pix 365 Project: Day 197 - Dinner... Asian Style?
http://rix365.blogspot.com/2010/10/day-197-dinner-asian-style.html
Thursday, October 14, 2010. Day 197 - Dinner. Asian Style? Okay, okay. I was feeling lazy tonight. Besides, it was raining outside. Plus it was dark. I was tired. Yeah that's the ticket. Tired. Okay, the bottom line is: I didn't get a good picture today. I had a choice- Either I could take good picture of nothing, or a mediocre picture of something good. In this case, good was our dinner, and it was good. To get the colors to look halfway correct. We all have our boring shot days. Posted by Rick Williams.

Leftovers: Auburn Dance Center
http://rixleftoverpictures.blogspot.com/2011/03/auburn-dance-center.html
I take a lot of pictures. Many times I have pictures that I don't want to keep but are still worthy of sharing. This blog is for them. Wednesday, March 2, 2011. Posted by Rick Williams. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This blog is for pictures that are, for lack of a better explanation, "leftover" pictures from photo junkets. I almost always have multiple good pictures but rarely find them worth keeping, so I decided I'd like to have a place to post them. No fanfare, no explanations, just pictures.

Rix Pix 365 Project: Day 16 - Crescent Kitty
http://rix365.blogspot.com/2010/04/day-16-crescent-kitty.html
Friday, April 16, 2010. Day 16 - Crescent Kitty. This is Cookie. She is our kittycat and we love her dearly. She has this thing that she does whenever she feels all "warm and fuzzy", and that's where the term Crescent Kitty came from. She will plop down on her side and put her little front paws up in praying position. During that, she also has her body curved into a crescent moon position. She just screams. Pet me and rub my belly! How can we refuse? Posted by Rick Williams. Creamy does that in the gravel.

Rix Life, Part V: June 2009
http://rixlifepartv.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Rix Life, Part V. Tuesday, June 02, 2009. It was a strange thing. I came home yesterday just like any other day, but something was amiss. I didn't catch it at first, and went about the immediate business at hand in the kitchen. Afterward, I grabbed a beer and headed up the stairs to check my email. I stopped dead in my tracks. Mona had run away! Here is the scene that greeted my eye:. Yes, as if to rub my nose in it, she had just peeled em down and stepped out:. Posted by Rick Williams.

Rix Pix 365 Project: Day 362 - Just a Babbling Brook
http://rix365.blogspot.com/2011/03/day-362-just-babbling-brook.html
Monday, March 28, 2011. Day 362 - Just a Babbling Brook. This is someone's "back yard" brook for lack of a better explanation. It's next to a road that is fairly well-traveled, but it's within a fence so all you can do is look or take pictures. It's early spring and this particular spot was so green I actually had to tone down the green slightly so it didn't seem unnatural. Only 3 more days. Posted by Rick Williams. This blog is exactly what the name suggests- A project. Will I be able to keep it going?

Rix Pix 365 Project: April 2011
http://rix365.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 1, 2011. Well, it's over. I made my first post exactly one year ago today, and it's finally come to a close. Doing a 365 project was not as fun and as easy as it seemed at first. It started out pretty exciting because I saw only the romance of embracing something fun and creative that I could share with the world. There was something about the "anything goes" aspect of choosing the picture to post each day. I never dreamed that it might actually be hard. Into my pictures. Did I succeed?

Rix Life, Part V: Getting Mail and Sarah's Prom
http://rixlifepartv.blogspot.com/2009/05/getting-mail-and-sarahs-prom.html
Rix Life, Part V. Wednesday, May 13, 2009. Getting Mail and Sarah's Prom. That's a strange title combination isn't it? So what's the big deal about getting mail? Well, yesterday I received my first actual mail at Suzie's mailbox, and it was kinda weird. Well, it's kinda weird from two perspectives really:. It was the first mail I've received at what will be my new address. (Hey, I still sometimes hesitate when it comes to reciting this. Address, and I've lived here for how long? Posted by Rick Williams.
