Looking east toward the Myrdalsjokull icecap. Looking south towards the Westman Islands (they look like mountains in the background). Walking behind a 200 ft waterfall near our cabin. Skogafoss, another 200 ft waterfall near our cabin. Both of the waterfalls are fed by melt water from the Myrdalsjokull glacier.

The first five minutes in Iceland started out pretty brutal. We got off the airplane and were bombarded by 30 to 40 mph winds and it felt like we were in Antarctica. Windy Even with the wind, it was.
