The sandstone and basalt cliffs sport ocean-carved caves. The beach and surrounding cliffs change with every storm and high tide. This waterfall covers a large shelf of rock before falling to the sand and rock of the beach, where the water then meets the sea. New Home on the Oregon Coast! Change Over is well named, everything about this spot changed rapidly. Light, tide, wave direction, and the color of the sea all changed dramatically in the short time I had to paint this.
