Making connections, helping, learning, exploring…my time in the Peace Corps. 16 July, 2011. Site visit is awesome! I am very much looking forward to living there for the next two years. When we got home, the electricity was back on, though it went out again about 10 minutes later. So Sunday was a nice and relaxing day, though not terribly productive. Oh yeah, although we did do our laundry that morning which was so much easier than doing laundry at my homestay in Bafia! To be continued…. On 16 July, 2011.

In my last post, I only made it through Monday of site visit, but it has now been three weeks since I got back, and I am just now getting back to writing, so I will just quickly summarize the rest of site visit. But soon a sister came over and the two woman talked and I just sat there, not understanding a word. I don’t think they were speaking French, but rather a local language. It has been two months now since I climbed Mount Cameroon, and I wish I would have written this post sooner, but alas, I did not. Laquo; transition to post. A Birthday in Cameroon. It sounds like you went on an amazing hike up and back down Mt. Cameroon! I’m glad you got to do it. On 28 February, 2012. We all made it and the volcano didn’t even let off a puff of smoke!
