Needless to say the 13 hour night train was not a highlight, given that we couldn’t get a sleeper so it was hard seats all the way. Roughing it student style – we survived! I’m all kitted out, my cute little grey toyota yaris is full of camping gear and food supplies for the next 10 days. The maps are ready, sadly no GPS and I’m raring to go!
