Year 0/1 class. growing constantly. Thursday, 4 June 2015. This term we are studying the story of "Goldilocks and the Three Bears". We wanted to know what a forest looked like,. So we visited our school forest. We talked about what is happening to the trees in and around the forest in the Autumn time. Then we had some fun with leaf fights! Today we had to mix up paints to make the trunk and branches of our trees. We are going to make an Autumn forest in our classroom. Haven't we done a fabulous job!

Year 0/1 class. growing constantly. Monday, 21 July 2014. This week, for maths, we are looking at patterns. Today we used ourselves to make patterns . Can you read our patterns and work out what would come next? Tuesday, 1 July 2014. Thank you to Mrs Holmes for her recipe for Green Pie. We made one today, using the spinach from our garden by our steps. We also used cheese, lots of eggs and carrots. We used the whizz to chop up the spinach. We put in the cheese. We put in the carrots.

We have another lesson next week. We really enjoyed the activities. Wednesday, 7 May 2014. Autumn Time at school. We have been looking for Autumn leaves around the school. Year 0/1 class. growing constantly. Wednesday, 22 October 2014. Today we had a very special visitor at school. Megan, MrsRobinson's sister brought along her pet goat called Coco. Can you see why she is called Coco? She is a year old. It is her birthday tomorrow! Kieran fed her a carrot from our garden as Coco loves eating carrots. Thursday, 3 April 2014. IOL this week: From Garbage to Garden. This week we were very busy creating gardens from garbage. We recycled all sorts of containers ( milk bottles, egg cartons, soft drink bottles, salad containers etc) to make our gardens. Now we need to keep watering them and wait to see the plants grow.
