THE LIFE WE SHARE. Sunday, June 24, 2012. BACK HOME AND ADJUSTING. The flight home was hard on us. We set our alarm for 3:00 am in Poland in order to clear security and board an early morning flight from Warsaw. Now, we’re slowly getting adjusted to local time. This weekend we enjoyed the boys for two days and an overnight. Each one got to plant his garden bed. Casey wanted watermelons. Since it’s too late to start seeds, we bought some plants. Ryder chose cucumbers and some experimental watermelon seeds.

THE LIFE WE SHARE. Saturday, October 18, 2014. There are lots of things to see in Italy (understatement). Closest to us is the Tower of Pisa. It’s about a 30 minute drive from our farm. The city of Pisa is not too exciting. Crowded with tourists and not really picturesque. The Campo dei Miracoli, Field of Miracles, is what we have come to see. THE LIFE WE SHARE. Wednesday, November 28, 2012. An Eight footer For $16 At a farm Two miles from our house. Our garden is still going strong. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Marlene and I are both retired. We enjoy traveling in our motor home, flying in our plane, gardening, and spending time with our grandsons. We live in the country on an acre of land which is part of a residential airpark where each house has a hanger attached and we all have access to a grass airstrip for take off and landings.

THE LIFE WE SHARE. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. An hour later, the oven temperature is down to 550 to 580 degrees and the bread goes in. After 25 minutes of baking, we check the internal temperature of the bread and if it has reached 190 degrees, the bread is done and we take it out to cool.
