A place to write about a day in the life of hospital nursing. I went into nursing school right out of high school. I always wanted to help people. I graduated from nursing school in 1985 and have worked in many areas of nursing: Med/Surg, Ortho, Acute Care, Extended Care, Med/Surg Renal, Outpatient Recovery, IV Team…I have been cross trained for Critical Care as well. Probably because we see so many situations now where you have to go to great lengths with medicare/medicaid that frankly are expensive in time and are a waste of resources.
