http://www.roadsidephilosophy.com/2012/05/for-every-year-of-knowledge-gained.html

Down a path that's unknown. Sunday, May 20, 2012. For every year of knowledge gained. Is a negative year that I've earned. I have been pressured to emerge from my blogging hiatus by friends who shall at the moment remain anonymous, but know that without them I may have never emerged and I appreciate that they keep me honest even at a distance! I have to explain I suppose. So to fill in the personal story for those of you keeping score:. All in all life has been great and I promise I'll put together a far...

Down a path that's unknown. Saturday, May 26, 2012. Oh my my, oh hey hey. Here it comes, the big parade. I was recently struggling to think about things that I miss since moving to Hong Kong.the usual stranger in a strange land yearnings just weren't really resonating. Which really translates into "No, I don't need you to bring me a years supply of pop-tarts" because well, we have those here too. Or "No, I don't need a car here" - it would actually make life more difficult. Beijing, Macau (for real this ...

The Olive Pits Take on the World! Thursday, May 31, 2012. Do I not post? Do I not post? I seriously debated on this one, but, at the end of the day, this blog is about our life and experiences in Hong Kong, both good and bad, happy and sad. Roadside Signpost Near Ashhurst New Zealand. Posted by The Wizz. On Thursday, April 1, 2010. I shot this roadside photo a few months back on a digital camera. This signpost is on State Highway 3 between Ashhurst and Woodville not far from the Ashhurst entrance to the Manawatu Gorge. Ashhurst (pop 3500) is a small rural township nestled under at the southern end of the Ruahine ranges and is the gateway to the fertile Pohangina Valley. Note the windmills in the background, part of the Te Apiti Windfarm.
