International Motorcycle Show - Greenville, SC. - January 2009. They are also the time that many of the major motorcycle and powersports industry shows take place. One of which is the International Motorcycle Show and this year was the first year in it's history that it would be in Greenville, SC. I had gotten my hands on some free admission tickets so Julie and I invited Teddy and Tim to ride down with us and check it out. Not so typical custom. Check out the in line 4 engine from a Suzuki sport bike.

For Love of a Motorbike: Who'd Have Thought...
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2014/01/who-have-thought.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Atlanta would see these temps? Yes, that is in Fahrenheit. I haven't seen any motorbikes on the road today. The big concern would be from breaking sprinkler pipes laying great sheets of ice across the road. Don't laugh. It is happening. :). Jan 7, 2014, 2:16:00 PM. I was surprised too. I thought it was always warmer where you were. Glad to see you back. Make sure to turn off your outside taps. Riding the Wet Coast. Jan 8, 2014, 11:51:00 PM. Meanwhile, I ...

For Love of a Motorbike: Giving it a Rethink
http://loveofamotorbike.blogspot.com/2014/06/giving-it-rethink.html
For Love of a Motorbike. Sunday, June 1, 2014. Giving it a Rethink. It all culminates down to motivation and time. Over the last couple months we have ridden a little. We (I) have worked a paying gig as an official Motorcycle Marshal for a bicycle race south of Atlanta, in pouring rain. We had the great pleasure of running around with Mike over at Scooter for Fun. I was recently in New Jersey for a training class. I just missed out on meeting up with Jack the Riepe. Oilburner had already removed his mars...

https://craftbangboom.wordpress.com/2011/11/12/found-saturday-serendipitous-veterans-day-edition
Found Saturday – Serendipitous Veteran’s Day Edition. November 12, 2011. Yesterday – Veteran’s Day – Travis and I were in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and we wandered into an antique shop. There, we found 4 boxes of old black and white 35mm and 4×5 negatives, and of course, I bought them all without even glancing through them to see what the subject matter was. Sure enough, the edge of the film said “Kodak France.”. Which would date the photos to late August 1944. Happy Veteran’s Day! On September 13, 1944&#...

bookflaps: Pistol Packin' Mama
http://bookflaps.blogspot.com/2013/01/pistol-packin-mama.html
Thursday, January 3, 2013. My little cabinet of historical insignificia grew this week with the addition of a piece of original sheet music dating to 1943. This gem, Pistol Packin’ Mama. Came into the shop via a new dealer. He just started setting up his booth with the new year and, as I was taking a look see at his wares this afternoon, this caught my eye. I knew the story, but I had never seen the sheet music before today. In 1937, he recorded a tune he had written entitled Honky Tonk Blues. Pistol Pac...
