Words of Mass Destruction
http://shayblackmore.blogspot.com/2004_05_01_archive.html
Words of Mass Destruction. A massacre with a modem. Sunday, May 30, 2004. Sheesh, even 'Joshua' was a better password. Today, I found myself faced with a report. The report has a quick introduction by one of the writers of the original report, so if you couldn't be bothered reading through the whole thing, you can stop there. Launched by Splunge @ 4:38 pm. Tuesday, May 18, 2004. Where the hell is Shay? Our Master Blogger has been absent as of late, any ideas on where he is? Launched by Ben @ 9:21 am.

Bowling for Illidan: Cairns and the Daintree (August 07)
http://bowlingforillidan.blogspot.com/2007/08/cairns-and-daintree-august-07.html
Wednesday, November 28, 2007. Cairns and the Daintree (August 07). Far North Queensland is the closest you'll get to another country without leaving Australia. The first thing you notice are the local endangered species. Aspires to the full range of urban pretensions, like this art gallery behind the beachfront string of backpacker dens. No original Picasso here, though there's one on Magnetic Island down south. Once you've sampled the culture, you can get on to the town's strengths. Most return to Cairn...

Blaahg: Colombia hands over US soldiers
http://blaahg.blogspot.com/2005/05/colombia-hands-over-us-soldiers.html
Economics, History, Politics, and Random Thoughts. Thursday, May 05, 2005. Colombia hands over US soldiers. This news is really depressing. That's all I have to say. Colombia has handed over to the US two American soldiers suspected of trafficking weapons to paramilitaries. The United States said the allegations were "extremely troubling" and would be investigated fully. Colombian authorities said they found 31,000 rounds of ammunition when they arrested the two men at an apartment near Bogota on Tuesday.

Blaahg: Brazil's monetary policy dilemma
http://blaahg.blogspot.com/2005/04/brazils-monetary-policy-dilemma.html
Economics, History, Politics, and Random Thoughts. Wednesday, April 27, 2005. Brazil's monetary policy dilemma. Is trying to meet its inflation target of 5.1% this year, but there are plenty of obstacles. Not only are oil prices pressuring inflation, but the currency keeps wanting to appreciate, in part thanks to the great balance of payments situation in which the country finds itself. All this means the central bank might have to keep policy tight for longer than people expect. View my complete profile.
Blaahg: Another example of overflowing global liquidity
http://blaahg.blogspot.com/2005/05/another-example-of-overflowing-global.html
Economics, History, Politics, and Random Thoughts. Wednesday, May 04, 2005. Another example of overflowing global liquidity. This dam, mind you, will be a 1.6 billion dollar investment in a country where GDP is $9 billion. That's 17% of GDP, one project. That's a whole lot of risk, it seems to me. What do you think? BBC NEWS Business Banks put $1.6bn behind Laos dam. Posted by S : 5/04/2005 09:34:00 PM. My dogs are always happy to see me. View my complete profile. Adam Smith Institute Blog.
Blaahg: Symbolic industries?

Economics, History, Politics, and Random Thoughts. Tuesday, April 26, 2005. Yes, we live in an era of global imbalances. Fortunately, there are plenty of selfless Japanese businessmen that will help to close the current account deficit. Posted by S : 4/26/2005 09:02:00 PM. My dogs are always happy to see me. It’s all been done | Alena Titterton

It’s all been done. December 2, 2010 at 8:45 pm Posted in Fiction. Jonathan Franzen: photographed at the Brooklyn Book Festival by David Shankbone (Wikimedia Commons). I keep thinking about this really interesting interview on Lateline. On 30 November 2010 with the author Jonathan Franzen. And in particular, what he was saying about getting the sense more and more that the language you speak is going dead on you and that it’s oppressive. I suspect not. Anyone else sometimes feel this way? Because he was ...

The Road to Surgery
The Road to Surgery. Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Sleep is a joke. I've been bombarded over the past 2 months from people who complain that i don't update my blog. (Apparently people find it interesting. I'd like to take this moment to thank what i believe are sarcastic remarks). That will be later on this month and also have a meeting with a local plastic surgeon who I was referred to by one of the residents in the emerge. I randomly decided to go in one monday not on my usual shift only to find a firetruck b...
