We are the Chapman's, my friends. Thursday, October 7, 2010. Things I've learned, things I know to be true, and whole lotta nothin'. In 40 years.I'm feeling nostalgic this week. Like the end of an era and the beginning of a new one. Like I need to go have my roots done real quick. Like maybe I should do a lot of things different. I think my next decade will be one of accepting my faults. It is very important to work as a team and listen to what others have to say. Your way is not always the best way.

Cyclisk - An Oblisk Made of Bicycles. A beautiful sculpture in Santa Rosa, California made out of about 340 bicycles and one tricycle. Created by Northern California artists Mark Grieve and Ilana, ironically it is right in the vicinity of several car dealers. As per wired.com. It could be a " tribute to the way car culture has sacrificed more eco-friendly bicycle culture? A memento mori for industrial civilization? A reminder that riding your bicycle is both healthier and cheaper than driving a car?

Roaming The Halls

Friday, June 12, 2009. Four years ago today. Four years ago today I was lying in a hospital bed at St. Vincent's hospital about to begin the most challenging, rewarding, frustrating, most wonderful journey of my life. My beautiful son Aiden was born. I had no idea what to expect and some days I still can't believe we have made it this far. All the sleepless nights in the beginning (and still some sleepless nights now! Learning to walk, learning to talk, potty training (thank God I don't have a girl!

Roaming the Holy City. Notes from the Holy City of the South. March 17, 2011 by Chris and Suz. Life has been upheaving left and right lately. This site is far from dead, just very neglected. It will remain so for a few days as March Madness takes over my eating and sleeping habits. And until the other half of this masterpiece adds some photos for use. That would be you, Suz.
