Sunday, May 24, 2009. I know we live at the beach. So, why did we vacation where we live? You will notice there are no pictures of me on this trip. I was behind the camera the whole time. Next time I will have to remember to get a picture or two. This is their sand castle and Miles wanted his picture with it so he could "remember it.". What are you looking at? Gavin is "all done pool" which means the ocean. Too much fun! It rained some on our vacation and when it did it got cold. Gavin was sooooo excited!

Below are photos of our Easter weekend. This is a photo of Miles getting his one easter egg. Look at what I got, candy! It is almost impossible to get both kids looking at the camera without one doing something crazy. Monday, March 3, 2008. Our place in Orlando. Miles and his friend Drew. We were waiting to get on the paddle boats. Miles in the indoor playground at our place.

Someone is trying to force us to go one mile. I am going to be speaking metaphorically for a while, so bear with me. Our situation isn't a perfect metaphor. We just don't logistically have the option of walking at all! Next comes "Jesus says to not only go that one mile, but go with him two. WHAT? And does that even really play into this? And the ...

Maybe it will restore some of yours as well. I'm not talking about faith in the Almighty. That faith hasn't needed to be restored. He has kept me and will continue to keep me. I'm talking about faith in the US government, and in the way this process, this representative democracy, works. I have discovered something about myself during this. I am a little lazy! Here are some specifics: So yesterday we did the Messy Scavenger. This is why I generally don't like rewards for expected behavior. He just nodded and immediately went to work. This is MAJOR improvement! That tells me he is trying, and that we need more practice with all that. And "TIME TO GO".
