Monday, August 10, 2015. Great Church Visit to Cote de Fer…. I recently had the opportunity to go with a team from The Summit Church. I got to meet “Happy” (first picture below). They call him Happy, because his smile and laugh are intoxicating in spite of the burdens he is carrying in life. His situation is VERY difficult as the walls of his home are crumbling and his concern as he ages is growing for the future care of his adult deaf daughter. James 1:2-4. Monday, August 24, 2015. Our Family is “All In”…. It brings us such great joy to know we are where God wants us to be. There is no greater blessing than serving Jesus. Our family is “all in”. We often hear Drew pray, “Lord, thank you that we get to be in Haiti to share the Gospel.” How cool is that? Recently our whole family had the opportunity and privilege to join up with Harper Evangelical Free Church. Below are some pictures…. You can see more pictures here. Drew being the center of attention…. Here ...

Sunday, November 2, 2014. It's Worth It: Beacon EFC Goes to Morency. I had the great privilege of hosting a first time team from the church where I grew up, Beacon Evangelical Free Church. From Galloway, NJ. Not only was it the church where I grew up, but my Aunt and Uncle were on the team! The week could not have been better. To give you an idea of how things went, here is some feedback we received from Beacon EFC upon their arrival back home. Thank you for your leadership with RMI. I see how you ar...

We had my checkup today at the OB, and everything is right on track! I start going in every two weeks for visits now. I can hardly believe that we're already at this point in the pregnancy. the malloys: Beach Vacation

http://thefamilymalloy.blogspot.com/2009/05/beach-vacation.html

Sunday, May 24, 2009. I know we live at the beach. So, why did we vacation where we live? You will notice there are no pictures of me on this trip. I was behind the camera the whole time. Next time I will have to remember to get a picture or two. This is their sand castle and Miles wanted his picture with it so he could "remember it.". What are you looking at? Gavin is "all done pool" which means the ocean. Too much fun! It rained some on our vacation and when it did it got cold. Gavin was sooooo excited!

Monday, March 24, 2008. We had a busy weekend. I took Miles to his first movie in the movie theater. He saw "Horton Hears a Who"! Below are photos of our Easter weekend. This is a photo of Miles getting his one easter egg. Look at what I got, candy! It is almost impossible to get both kids looking at the camera without one doing something crazy. Monday, March 3, 2008. Our place in Orlando. Miles and his friend Drew. We were waiting to get on the paddle boats. Miles in the indoor playground at our place.

Gerald's new passion in life, fishing! I've found Gavin sleeping in a couple of random places lately. Sunday, May 24, 2009. I know we live at the beach. So, why did we vacation where we live? This is their sand castle and Miles wanted his picture with it so he could "remember it.". What are you looking at? Gerald and Rob riding the waves.

Reflections of a Wife and Mommy: Walk a Mile or Two?

http://wife-and-mommy.blogspot.com/2007/09/walk-mile-or-two.html

Reflections of a Wife and Mommy. Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Walk a Mile or Two? If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles." Matthew 5:41. Someone is trying to force us to go one mile. I am going to be speaking metaphorically for a while, so bear with me. Our situation isn't a perfect metaphor. We just don't logistically have the option of walking at all! Next comes "Jesus says to not only go that one mile, but go with him two. WHAT? And does that even really play into this? And the ...

Reflections of a Wife and Mommy. Thursday, July 24, 2014. The Politics of Adoption. I want to tell you about how some of my faith has been restored. Maybe it will restore some of yours as well. I'm not talking about faith in the Almighty. That faith hasn't needed to be restored. He has kept me and will continue to keep me. I'm talking about faith in the US government, and in the way this process, this representative democracy, works. BEB) (Click on the link to find out all about them.they are amazing!

Reflections of a Wife and Mommy: June 2014

http://wife-and-mommy.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html

Reflections of a Wife and Mommy. Thursday, June 12, 2014. Adopting Faith and Facing Giants. Oh, my. We really need some faith. Lets be clear on something. The command to go and take possession of the land meant, "go and fight and take the land from the people who are there." God was going to empower them, fight for them, do the heavy lifting so to speak, but they still had their job to do. They had to go. But, what happened? Even though they saw the "good land" in verse 25, the people, based on apparent.

Reflections of a Wife and Mommy. Monday, August 29, 2011. Household Notebook: an overview. I have created (or rather re-created) my Household Notebook. Do you have a Household Notebook? Do you know what one is? It is basically a place to organize my job as household engineer! A place to keep important stuff. I decided I would share an overview of mine:. Reflections of a Wife and Mommy: The Scott Family Responsible Child Boot Camp: Day 4

http://wife-and-mommy.blogspot.com/2014/03/the-scott-family-responsible-child-boot.html

Reflections of a Wife and Mommy. Thursday, March 27, 2014. The Scott Family Responsible Child Boot Camp: Day 4. Yesterday was MUCH better! I have discovered something about myself during this. I am a little lazy! Here are some specifics: So yesterday we did the Messy Scavenger. This is why I generally don't like rewards for expected behavior. He just nodded and immediately went to work. This is MAJOR improvement! That tells me he is trying, and that we need more practice with all that. And "TIME TO GO".

Rob and Becki Write Stuff

Rob and Becki Write Stuff. Friday, February 17, 2012. Happy Birthday to the Rob of my RobandBecki! Rob and I have been friends for a long, long time. Here's how it happened. We went to a teeny, super-conservative college (which is funny, considering that Rob and I are neither teeny, nor super-conservative). My freshman year, I attended auditions for "The Music Man", and saw a man sitting in the audience (wearing overalls! Also, don't get me wrong. Rob's pretty mean sometimes. And whiny.). Thanks for bein...

Rob & Bec

Tuesday, September 1, 2009. Saturday, August 1, 2009. Thursday, July 9, 2009. Everything about me is directly influenced by those in this photo and I want to give at least one reason why each of these people have made me a better person. Gives me confidence and strength in myself to withstand what I may have originally ran from. He turns me around and makes me stand directly in the path of Doubt. Growing up Country

A blog for my short and long-term memory loss. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. In between the rain this summer we have had lots of fun-filled days. Don't worry this is the "art room" where you are allowed to write on the walls:). Grandma was able to visit us as well. We also found the Calhoun Library and enjoyed their summer reading program. The kids did crafts, had snacks, and listened to stories. Wyatt making a snake out of an old tie. Anna Lea showing her snake "fangs" (Bugles). We found some blackberries.
