Growing up Country

A blog for my short and long-term memory loss. Tuesday, August 6, 2013. In between the rain this summer we have had lots of fun-filled days. Don't worry this is the "art room" where you are allowed to write on the walls:). Grandma was able to visit us as well. We also found the Calhoun Library and enjoyed their summer reading program. The kids did crafts, had snacks, and listened to stories. Wyatt making a snake out of an old tie. Anna Lea showing her snake "fangs" (Bugles). We found some blackberries.

Sunday, July 22, 2012. This was also Carol Anne's birthday, so it was a double celebration. Thursday morning we decided to take Olivia to "The Magic House" aka Children's museum. I was afraid she was too little, but they had a section devoted to 2 and under. We had fun. Olivia loved planning in the ball pit since we have one at home too. She was too cute. Waving at herself and us:). She loved this train and would make the funniest facial expression when its horn would blow. A birds eye view of Hannibal.

Beth and rob @ home. Simple. honest. messy. February 13, 2013. I’m 11 weeks post-chemo and, internet? I have some hair. It’s nice and thick and even. And, well, between a quarter and a half of an inch long. A little piece of me is starting to think that I prefer my super short hair to scarves and buffs and wigs. A little piece of me that is bold and brave. I like that piece of me. So I begin to ask, when do I go topless? As making big decisions can be helped by lists of pros and cons, I give you my list.
