The Friday Chronicle: 12.10
http://amyecampbell.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
OK, I'll be part of this world. Photo by National Geographic. Every time I see this picture I kind of don't believe it. First of all, how did he get there? According to science (source: unimportant), a mountain goat's immune system relies on the salty minerals received from licking the rock face found only in the most rugged of mountain ranges. Look at what he is willing to do for survival! Amazing. I feel a metaphor coming on. No, I'll spare you. Much needed visits with family and friends. To top of thi...

The Friday Chronicle: 11.11
http://amyecampbell.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
OK, I'll be part of this world. And what an October it was! Travel was my new best friend this past month. Not only did I get to spend a fun day out in the city with a large bunch of the Campbell clan, I was also fortunate to attend my cousin Jenny's wedding. It was a perfect, family filled weekend. Second stop: New York City. Third stop: Long Beach/Disneyland. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In peace and eat. Matt and Allison Mays.

The Friday Chronicle: 11.10
http://amyecampbell.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
OK, I'll be part of this world. I spy a bum groove. Having survived the wonderful week of Thanksgiving (it really was great), I feel that I should say a few words about being thankful. I'm not one to make a sappy post, really- so to start this off I'm going to list a few small things that make me want to explode:. 1 Walking behind someone, trying to get around them, but they keep swerving in front of you. almost as if on purpose. 3 Discovering a bum groove on my bed, where someone sat. Farewell, my friend.

OK, I'll be part of this world. 1 Humidity. Not nature's humidity, but human humidity. This means that people are sweating and breathing and releasing gases and it stresses me out. 2 Noises. All sorts of hideous noises that those making them should be embarrassed about. They're not. I could be making a huge storm of noises while working out but my problematic pride and sense of decency keeps it all in. 3 Sweaty machines. Maybe 10% of machine users wipe down after use. Have a great Tuesday everybody.

The Friday Chronicle: Happy 4th!
http://amyecampbell.blogspot.com/2011/07/happy-4th.html
OK, I'll be part of this world. I'm pretty sure I am repeating this post from the last 4th of July, but I just can't get enough of Langston Hughes- my favorite American. The Negro Speaks of Rivers. I've known rivers ancient as the world and older than the flow of blood in human veins. My soul has grown deep like the rivers. I bathed in the Euphrates when dawns were young. I built my hut near the Congo and it lulled me to sleep. I looked upon the Nile and raised the pyramids above it. Ancient, dusky rivers.

the fall of it: April 2011
http://thefallofit.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
The fall of it. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Mrs Stogsdill and the Blustery Day. A lot of things have been changing and ending this week - wards, classes, jobs - lots of things. But the biggest and most important change this week was Holly. It was the happiest day for her, and it was pretty dang happy for the rest of us, too. I'm having wedding day withdrawal right now; I would relive that day over and over again if I could. And that may be the girliest thing I've ever said, but I mean it. There are all the...

The Jones Story: May 2012
http://thejonesstory.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Landon, Kimi, and Olivia. Monday, May 14, 2012. END of 1L YEAR! I will be working at the Washington State Attorney General's office in the Division of Social and Health Services. I will most likely be working in the Juvenile Litigation section of the office. I am really excited to finally apply some of the things I have been learning this past year. It is really awesome because I will be working downtown and I have a beautiful view of the puget sound! I do not by any means want this to be a confessional ...
