Friday, September 10, 2010. New Lens Means Torture for the Dog. After much bribery, the dog was finally still for 5 seconds while I took his picture. My new lens is a Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 Prime lens and it is soooo different than the EF-S 18-55mm, f3.5-5.6 IS zoom lens that came with my camera. It is going to take some getting used to.
