Monday, November 13, 2006. The YouTube gallery of fun! Diet Coke and Mentos! The kids were going stir crazy one day this summer, so I grabbed a 2 liter of Diet coke and some Mentos. Its amazing how quickly the reaction occurs! Don't watch before flying! There's lots of test flight video on YouTube, but this one is of a real plane aborting a landing due to severe crosswinds.
