How We Began

Since we have so many new friends, I though I would answer some commonly asked questions. How did we begin? We started in August of 2011 as a way to honor the memory of my son, Robby for his 2nd birthday. Friends had been asking what they could do. Knowing that the bereavement program at Good Sam was getting low on th eir supply (thanks for the spark Mary and Pam) we requested stuffed animals to send to them. I posted a status on Facebook and what followed still amazes me! Thanks Tim and Rachael!

How can you help us? We collect any NEW stuffed animals (rabbits are our favorite). We accept the very small up to about the size of a newborn. 2 We accept donations . Checks made out to Robby's Rabbits. Where does the money go? 1 Shipping, Shipping, Shipping- to send one rabbit costs between $3 and $8. To send to a hospital, one box of 25 rabbits is about $30. 2 supplies- the bags I use to mail, the tissue paper, the gift bag for local delivery, the note cards, the labels, the gift tags.
