The Robcat View: man vs. elements

http://www.robcatview.blogspot.com/2010/06/man-vs-elements.html

In which I present my take on anything I darn well please, dag-nabbit! Friday, June 11, 2010. Man vs. elements. I've watched two of Robert Flaherty's famous documentary features. Somehow, in "Man of Aran" (1934) he's managed to make living in Ireland look even more bleak and hopeless than living at the north pole did in "Nanook of the North" (1922). The Robcat View: my proposal for a palestinian-israeli settlement

http://www.robcatview.blogspot.com/2010/04/my-proposal-for-palestinian-israeli.html

In which I present my take on anything I darn well please, dag-nabbit! Wednesday, April 07, 2010. My proposal for a palestinian-israeli settlement. All the current focus is on trying to hammer out a two-state solution. The problem with that is no matter where the border goes, both sides are going to be disappointed that some portion is permanently out of reach. Also, there has been a de facto. Two-state setup in place since the 1967 war. How well has that worked? This is my version. In the first election...

The Robcat View: it's jonny quest's fault 2

http://www.robcatview.blogspot.com/2010/05/its-jonny-quests-fault-2.html

In which I present my take on anything I darn well please, dag-nabbit! Sunday, May 16, 2010. It's jonny quest's fault 2. I saw something last night I thought didn't exist. an episode of Jonny Quest I had never seen before. A few scenes from "Pirates from Below". What are you staring at? It's a submarine. It's just a submarine! It doesn't look like anything else! This must be how the Reverend George Rekers got that hernia he needed surgery for. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The Robcat View: not the fox and the hound

http://www.robcatview.blogspot.com/2010/06/not-fox-and-hound.html

In which I present my take on anything I darn well please, dag-nabbit! Friday, June 18, 2010. Not the fox and the hound. I just watched an animated feature that had to be an absolute nightmare to direct. It allowed no comic relief, nor amusing animal sidekicks, nor even squash and stretch. Every line of dialog had to be said with either deep reverence or snarling cynicism. Sowhat was the feature? Or are you too embarrassed to admit seeing it? June 25, 2010 1:49 PM. It was Muhammad: The Last Prophet.

The Robcat View: we have a winner

http://www.robcatview.blogspot.com/2010/04/we-have-winner.html

In which I present my take on anything I darn well please, dag-nabbit! Tuesday, April 13, 2010. We have a winner. Ladies and gentlemen. the direct mail advertising brochure image most likely to make me never want to buy a product. I don't know if Time-Warner Cable thinks that is how I view myself, or if they think that is what I want to come to my home and install Time-Warner Cable, but I do feel better now about not having cable. Too bad it's too late to do anything about it. Tears on the keyboard, click click click. More than that, programming on the iPhone was fun. The Cocoa API is just wonderful to hack in. And I may be the only person outside Cupertino who has gotten a UIWebView to work, and damn it, that's important to me. As...Well,...

Along with the rest of the world, I was in fact accepted into the Developer Program on Friday. And in the meantime (I think I'm allowed to talk about this) I was hired to write a program.  I don't think I'll say what it is yet, but some of you who know me personally will be quite surprised to hear I accepted it. Watch this space for details.

Looks like you were off by almost 100, my friend.". And I have never been happier to be wrong. 2000 and 2004 conditioned me to expect the worst. And, honestly, I really do think that electronic voting machines are the tool of the devil (at least without a paper trail). Tuesday, November 04, 2008. I humbly suggest this: "In a ...

Just another WordPress.com site. A Season in Hell. On July 8, 2010 at 2:40 pm Comments (33). The Fake Tough Animal Killer. The Autobiography of My Mother is an awesome book. the only problem is, I don’t trust her. And the dog she seemed to indirectly kill with her necklace? Wanting to kill the spider at school is perfectly understandable however. Spiders are gross. My biggest contention though, is that the narrator is writing an autobiography, naturally in retrospect. As with any other autobiography ...
