Monday, December 24, 2007. Every year we pack the family up in our truck, drive to Snoqualmie Pass, and play in the snow on Christmas Eve. This years no different! We just finished sledding and throwing snowballs at the Hyak Snow Park. It was a blast. Sledding conditions were great, nobody got hurt, and Beckett even enjoyed himself walking around in ankle deep snow. Saturday, September 16, 2006. MiniPC by Systemax (the VXR2). Just saw this really cool little miniPC. On Gizmodo yesterday. It's a Windows XP Media Center PC, that's about the same size as the Mac Mini. But it's a full blown PC, not one of those Mac imitation PCs. :-). It has a 1.66 GHz Intel Core2 processor, 1GB RAM, DVDRW drive, 80 GB SATA HD, and a built-in ATSC/NTSC hybrid tuner and it comes with the MCE remote control. Nice. I might have to get one of those to add to my home setup. Hmmm.

Friday, June 29, 2007. Hardware is very nice. Feels good to hold in your hand. Not to light. Not to heavy. Looks to be completely scratch proof (I tried scratching it a bit when they weren’t looking :-). Didn’t run hot at all, even after playing with it with WiFi turned on for 15 minutes. Software is very fast and responsive. Zooming was very intuitive. Consistent all thru all the applications. Make the device feel light and playful. Rotation transition when rotating the device in your hands is very cool.
