This Harp is standing up but is designed so that it can be positioned laying on its side also. This model has a two full sets of strings and a single resonance chamber. From this side air is funneled inwards and past the two sets of strings. The central section is easily removed so that tuning can be easily accomplished. When tuning, I use a standard electronic guitar tuner which is both cheap and easy to use. I've seen them placed on the corner of buildings where air past the corner flows most quickly.
