Half a Dozen Vosses: August 2013
http://halfadozenvosses.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 30, 2013. After visiting The Alamo and eating ice cream with friends in San Antonio, we got up the next morning and went to Seaworld. Piper takes after me as a child and makes faces in pictures :) I don't know if she was actually mad here, or if she was just making a face. Seven is such a good big brother to Rilian. I noticed Seven was holding Rilian's hand while we waited in line to get into Seaworld. I just had to capture the sweetness in a picture! Seven was scared to even get on it, bu...

Half a Dozen Vosses: Showing the Way
http://halfadozenvosses.blogspot.com/2014/04/showing-way.html
Thursday, April 17, 2014. At night, chickens go in their coops and are protected from predators. Usually as it gets dark, they go in on their own. Well, when we moved our chicken's coop, they didn't exactly understand that their home was in a different place. So one evening, we waited for them to fall asleep and we carried them to their coop. As it started to get dark, they started roosting on some branches and we were able to pick them up from the branches. The guineas are VERY loud! I am blessed to be ...

Half a Dozen Vosses: July 2013
http://halfadozenvosses.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Friday, July 26, 2013. Going Back to Our Roots. On our way home from Ruidoso. I decided to take a little detour through Carlsbad, New Mexico. Piper and Finn were born there, so I thought since we were that close I would show them what it looked like since we moved when Piper was 2 1/2 years old and Finn was 17 months old. Piper has asked me a little bit here and there about it. I figured this would give them a clear picture. Between Ruidoso and Carlsbad is Roswell, New Mexico. Since I was by myself, I co...

Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Seven's Blue and Gold Ceremony. Seven had his Cub Scout Blue and Gold Ceremony and went from a Tiger to a Bobcat. A parent gets to go up front with the Cub Scout. I let Jeremy go so I could take pictures. He did this with Finn. Too Jeremy is drawing on Seven's face with different colors. After all the awards were given, we got to eat cake. Jeremy made the cake, but I didn't get a picture of it before it was cut. Rilian played on the iPad while he waited on his cake. At night, c...

Half a Dozen Vosses: Kitty Kisses
http://halfadozenvosses.blogspot.com/2014/04/kitty-kisses.html
Sunday, April 13, 2014. Mingus likes to lay in our bathroom sink. He was in there one day and Seven went in to pet him. I was able to capture this cuteness. Mingus isn't the most affectionate cat. He likes to be petted, but not as much as some cats and it is usually on his terms. It is an honor if Mingus lets you pet him. So, this picture is extra special. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I am blessed to be able to stay at home with my four adorable children! Sevens Blue and Gold Ceremony. Another day...

Half a Dozen Vosses: February 2014
http://halfadozenvosses.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Parade and Meeting Santa. Every year after Thanksgiving, we have a parade downtown. Pretty much anyone that wants to be in the parade can be. You just have to have lights on your float. It is to signify the start of the Christmas season. This is also when the Christmas tree is lit downtown. Finn and Seven rode on their Boy Scout troop's float with Jeremy. Piper and Rilian watched the parade with me. Rilian was really excited to see Santa! Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Then he ...
