Thursday, December 29, 2005. I start work on the 3rd of January and I really don't want to go. I want to work again but not at this job. I recived a letter of receipt for my application to work with the RCMP in their forensic labs. Now that would be wicked awesome. Even the Calgary job would be better then the one I accepted. Tuesday, February 28, 2006. I am absolutely exhausted from all the running around I had to do today to get my passport stuff processed. I borrowed a metro pass and that helped a lot. Friday, September 30, 2005. Rod Hollow Shelter 30Sep05 Day106. It was so nice to wake up in a warm cabin. I did get very hot during the night and had to peel down and crack a window, but no complaints. I stopped at Sam Moore shelter for a late lunch and had the pleasure of watching a red headed woodpecker tapping on a tree. He was big and acted like he had a nervous twitch. Wednesday, August 31, 2005. Morgan Stewart Shelter 31Aug05 Day 76. I passes the Dover oak tree today. It is supposedly 300 years old and has a girth greater than 20 feet. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. So I am finally receiving my sleeping bag system from Big Agnes. I have been looking forward to this since about December, which is when I thought I was going to receive it, then I was moved to end April. Now the down bag was been changed to a primaloft bag but it will be a really nice bag so I am not complaining and am looking forward to trying out the bag and seeing how it will work in a hammock.
