Windows Phone 7 Development. Windows Phone 7 Developer Tools. My First Windows Phone 7 Application. December 18, 2010. I had a few minutes to kill today so thought I’d write my first Windows Phone 7 application. After a quick read of the MSDN documentation I learnt that XNA was for writing games so decided to look at the obligatory Hello World application for Silverlight in the MSDN library, which is actually a mini browser app that opens up a web page. Luckily a trial version was available for download.

I love it and would ditch my iPhone tomorrow if I didn’t own a Sonos multi-room system. The Sonos app on the iPhone is not only good but was free and I really don’t feel like spending 200 on a dedicated Sonos controller. So what are my options:. Keep my iPhone as a dedicated Sonos controller; a little extravagant.
