It was the perfect day for it and we had so much fun! I finally get Taegan to look at me and Lily looks away! Before snack time we stopped to get a big group picture. Here they all are. Lily is trying to see how tall she is this fall. Lily pretending to be a scarecrow. How cute! Sunday, October 24, 2010. We started celebrating the weekend b...

Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Tuesday, August 16, 2011. Meet the Teacher Night! Last night was Meet the Teacher Night at Indian Hills. This was our first year with 2 kids on this crazy night and boy does that double the craziness! For some reason my pictures posted backwards and I'm not sure why, so I'm just going with it! Here is Madison with her new 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Conrow. This was the teacher she was hoping she would get and because of that, Madison was so excited! I know she is ready! She se...

http://engelfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Thursday, June 17, 2010. My dad has taught all 3 of my kids the "Pat-a-Cake" rhyme. Here is a video of my dad and Taegan last weekend. They are so cute together! Weekend at Nana and Papa's House. Last weekend we traveled to Carthage to see my parents, go to my cousin, Alicia's wedding and celebrate Father's day with my dad. We had a wonderful time, except for Madison getting some strange bug during the wedding. :-(. At one point in the middle of dinner Taegan. Refused to lo...

Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel: November 2010
http://engelfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Thursday, November 4, 2010. I know, it has been a long time since Halloween, but we have been really busy and honestly, I thought I had already blogged about it. Guess not! So time to catch up! Madison chose to be Barbie Mariposa this year. She loved the outfit and we already had the book for the school's book parade. We made the flower headband and she was set. This is a picture before she went outside into the horrible wind for the parade. Once the music was over, it was ...

http://engelfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Monday, August 29, 2011. First Day of School! So after our summer flew by ridiculously fast, the next thing we knew, it was the first day of school! Don got up early and made pancakes for everyone. Here are the girls - all smiles for pancakes and the first day of school! I can't believe my Lily is ready to start kindergarten. It seems like just yesterday she was my little baby with the chubby little thighs toddling around our house! I love these three kids! Part of the kind...

Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel: March 2011
http://engelfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Monday, March 14, 2011. You want everyone you pass to know that you had 3 little girls before Taegan and that the last little girl isn't here anymore, but she still matters. I know what should matter is that we know and we celebrate her life, and it does, but it is so hard when others forget the one day you think about all year. Ugh. Her grave with the decorations we brought. I thought it was a good idea to try and at least get a good picture of the 3 kids (ha, ha! I just w...

Time really does fly by way too fast! But it doesn't matter, ready or not, she is off to preschool. Here she is on her first day all smiles! Out in front of our "first day of school tree". A picture of her cute backpack she picked out. (It is a kitty cat.). Of course, Taegan had to get in on some of the pictures. The l...

Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Saturday, May 14, 2011. Kings Kids Choir Spring Musical. It's that time of year again. The kids have worked hard since January and last Sunday was the big performance. Madison practiced and practiced to get this one particular solo. She tried out and actually got it! She was so excited! Then the new choir director asked us if Lily would be willing to do this one part where they needed a little kid to pretend to say "Oh No! Lily was even more excited than her sister! Open Ho...

Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel: January 2011
http://engelfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Tuesday, January 11, 2011. Yesterday was our first snow day of 2011! Don worked from home and we just had a nice day around our house and never got out of our pjs. The kids went outside and played in the snow 3 times in their nice, new snowsuits Grandma and Grandpa bought for our Minnesota trip! Here they are before we put on their coats and boots. And after the coats and boots are on. They look so cute all bundled up! My kids are obsessed with eating snow, I'm not sure why.

Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel: March 2010
http://engelfamilyadventures.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Two Girls, a Boy and an Angel. Sunday, March 14, 2010. She would have been 3 today. That is so hard to believe, but I guess time flies with your other children too, so why would it be any different with a child you don't get to see on a daily basis. It is always really hard to decide how to celebrate her birthday. What do you buy, what do you do? This year we made t-shirts for Trisomy. Here is a picture of her grave today after we decorated for her birthday. Here are the balloons on their way to Reese.
