Robey Ramblings

The periodic ramblings of life with the Robeys. Friday, August 14. First Day of School. Andrew (2nd), Hannah (3rd) and Luke (4th). Meet the Teacher/Open House was last night. Their packs are loaded. With school supplies and you can't see the ones on the floor. It's always a much anticipated and important night to meet those who I will be entrusting my kids to during the year. It's also a blessing to say "hi" to the teachers that my kids had last year. I walked away feeling blessed! Thursday, August 13.

Robey Ramblings: Mount Ranier National Park

http://www.robeyramble.blogspot.com/2015/08/mount-ranier-national-park.html

The periodic ramblings of life with the Robeys. Monday, August 10. Mount Ranier National Park. One very large tree. This is also the park where we realized we have one child that could have become car sick. The narrow road surrounded by very tall trees and the winding road did not help matters. Thankfully, his only symptoms were a tummy ache and a headache. Lunch and a walk seemed to help. Plus, we made sure he was drinking water and not reading as we wound through the park. The periodic ramblings of life with the Robeys. Sunday, July 5. Thankful that 13 isn't too old to run around with cousins shooting them with water. This weekend was highly anticipated - kids' baptisms, 4th of July, Grandpa and Grandma (times 2) and aunt/uncle/cousins were in town - what more could make for one exciting weekend! They're exactly one month in age and had a great time taking on everyone with the super soakers. My Sister and her family along with my Parents. Chris parents along with us.

http://rduckworth.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html

Sunday, September 11, 2011. Well, as I am sure you can guess, we have been busy. This summer was a big one for us! So, anyway, our adventure brought us to Dallas. There we visited Albert's uncle, aunt and cousins,. My cousin, and her husband and kiddos. And Albert's sister. Our time there was SO encouraging. We loved every minute and were off to a great start on our journey. Next we headed a tinge north to OKC. It was so exciting to be back! We decided after playing in the water park on the last day that...

The Ducks: July 2011

http://rduckworth.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 22, 2011. Well, we've been busy again! Between blueberry picking, friends visiting, weddings, a pending road trip, a night away, a couple of dates and a couple of big birthdays coming up, it has been a packed summer! The picture above was before a wedding. The big boys were ring bearers. The groom and groomsmen were in military dress uniforms, so it was fitting for the boys to wear the groom's work uniform. Everyone got a big hit out of their flightsuits. Sword fighting on nature walks.

The Ducks: this table

http://rduckworth.blogspot.com/2012/02/this-table.html

Saturday, February 4, 2012. A little of my sewing has gone to the dining room. We are in this room soooo much during the day that I would really like to enjoy it. I made this runner after seeing this. I would like to tell you that I made this sign. I did spray paint it black. A friend of ours offered to project the words onto the board for me, then he offered to paint it. I didn't see any plans for completing it myself, so I said yes and thank you! The Ducks: July 2012

http://rduckworth.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 27, 2012. I don't think there is anyone who reads this blog who is not a friend on facebook, but just in case. We have a new baby boy! 7 lbs 9 oz. 18 1/2 inches (though he was 20 1/4 in at his appointment 3 days later). Born July 8th at 11:13 pm. After a few minutes of settling in, she checked me and I was 9.5 cm dilated and 100% effaced. I really was in labor! And that labor was over! Reed has been a sweet, sweet baby and seems to be very laid back. We are now enjoying having Albert's m...
