The last season had been a challenging one for the Ladies 2nd XI side, ending the season being relegated, after narrowly loosing away in the last of our league games against Leicester Ladies’s 1st XI 1-2, despite some strong team and individual performances, in particular from Jess Barr and Becky Westerhuis, who were fighting valiantly from the back and midfield positions. SITE UPDATE CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE. Men’s 2nd IX. The 2014/15 season for Oxford Brookes 2nd XI (captained by Josh Doble) was anticipated by many and promised to be a highly successful season. Coming back after a tremendous victory over Nottingham in the Midlands Cup final the champions were eager to start the new season. With a healthy compromise of talented freshers and experienced third years the forthcoming season looked full of potential. Lets recreate that and have high aims for this season coming!

SITE UPDATE CURRENTLY TAKING PLACE. Men’s 1st IX. First up in the season was the local rivalry- Brookes vs Oxford. Despite showing a lot of hunger and passion, the game finished in a 4-1 defeat. The next games were a similar story, with Brookes showing a lot of guts and leaving everything on the pitch, but no result to show for it.
