Runnin' Runnin' and Runnin' Runnin'. Thursday, June 29, 2006. My brother did the race with me and before it began he asked me if I had any predictions. I said that I'd be happy with 2 hours or less. Well I ended up with 1:47, putting me 524th out of 4000; so needless to say, I was pretty proud. Lee ended up with 1:29, putting him 81st overall. What a freak. Posted by Hammer at 9:02 AM. Posted by Hammer at 11:54 AM. Sunday, May 07, 2006. There wasn't any parking at the hotel in Victoria, so I had to park on the street at a meter which means the meter has to be filled every hour and a half. In other words, I have an hour and a half to run. Posted by Hammer at 10:02 AM. Thursday, May 04, 2006. Running on the road.

Guitarist in the High School Jazz Band: April 2006
http://highschooljazzguitarist.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Guitarist in the High School Jazz Band. Thursday, April 27, 2006. A Brief History of Jazz - excerpt from Chapter 1. The book is coming along. Knee deep in Chapter 2. It's 50 pages so far without graphics or examples. Yikes. You just make it up! Well yeah, but it doesn’t always mean that what you make up will sound good and/or more importantly, is what you would like to hear. Imagine an apple. What color is it? Is it on a table? What’s in the background? What’s in the foreground? Is the sun out? After all...
