We spent a week in Maine with Robin's family. mom (Cheryl), dad (David), sister (Heather) and Fiance (Ricky). It was FABULOUS! Cheryl, Heather, and Ricky picked us up in Portland and we ate dinner at the Saltwater Grille which had a great view of the harbor and downtown. This is the cottage we stayed in. My parent's have been renting it the same time in June for the past 32 years! Our year in austria.

Die Herrengasse wurde heuer mit verkehrt hängenden Christbäumen geschmückt, was sehr lustig aussieht, besonders im beleuchteten Zustand. Der kleine Landstrich Istriens von Koper bis Portoroz gehört zu Slowenien. Portoroz oder Portorosa heißt übersetzt "Hafen der Rose". Portoroz ist von Graz ca. 310 km entfernt. Der Tag unserer Ankunft war nicht ideal zum Baden, daher machten wir eine kleine Wanderung nach Piran. Von der Burg hat man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Hafen und auf Piran. März) wieder an einem Seminar vom MGV teilnahm, beschlossen Roswitha und ich ein männerloses Wochenende in St. Jakob zu verbringen. Die Wettervorhersage war nicht besonders gut. So war auch der Samstag bewölkt und recht kühl. Aber nach einem ausgedehnten Spaziergang entlang des Kneippweges machten wir es uns in der mittlerweile warmen Stube gemütlich. Es regnete in Strömen, doch das tat der guten Stimmung keinen Abbruch. Auch die Nachbarn unterstützten den MGV stimmlich. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und für Unterhaltung war bestens gesorgt. Für die Mitternachtseinlage wurden u.a. Andrea, Jakob und ich "engagiert", und so mussten wir für unseren großen Auftritt natürlich proben. Die Bilder entstanden bei der Generalprobe, da am Abend der Veranstaltung unserer Fotograf Werner als Kameramann fungierte. Bei der Generalprobe hatten wir auch kritische Zuschauer . The Graz is greener on the other side. Robin and David's year in Austria. September 2005 - August 2006. Sunday, August 27, 2006. We said goodbye to Graz with a fantastic meal at Stainzerbauer. The waiter gave us each a glass of Styrian Scnapps as a goodbye and thank-you. We're in Vienna for our last 2 nights, and tomorrow we fly home! We can hardly believe how fast the year went by!
