At Home in Arkansas. Friday, January 01, 2010. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving in Nashville with my family at my brother and sister-in-law's house. Christmas was spent here with my mom and dad and two of my brothers, and then we headed up to Iowa/Nebraska for four snow-filled, FREEZING, but fun, days to celebrate with Brent's family and see friends in Omaha. Since I missed blogging at four months, I figured I better not miss today. =) I weighed him this afternoon and he appears to be somewhere around 15 lbs. 8 oz. Saturday, November 29, 2008. I just can't get over how thankful I am for my life, and how thankful I am to be where I am. On Tuesday after my class, I was surprised by my roommates Erin and Lena, Sarah and Scot, and Priscilla and Andrew for my birthday! I was so shocked, they threw me a wonderful surprise party! They had the place decorated with balloons, had amazing fall treats on the table, and fabulous gifts! It was such a wonderful night, and I certainly feel blessed to have these people in my life!

Friday, July 4, 2008. 4F's-Family, Fourth, Freedom, and Fireworks! I believe Romans 8:28 with all my being-"I know that ALL things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes." As I stated in an earlier post it made our family who we are today. It taught my girls what it was to travel (plan ahead for bathroom stops! So much I could say here. Friday, September 30, 2011. What do you seek? I am seeking to find peace and some level of happiness in my life of chaos and pain! To find the real me again, sometimes I feel like I have lost myself somewhere along the way. I have been donned "Superwoman", and have almost always come through for whatever someone needed, wanted, etc. I am a giver and my life has been centered around that more than I have realized! I love giving- but have found myself to be pretty empty-because I've not given to myself!
