We woke up early to make our kids pink heart shaped pancakes with bacon and eggs. The two little girls were so excited! The two older ones acted like it wasn't a big deal but we could tell they really liked it. Each of the kids had a chocolate heart to take to school. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). ROAD TRIP July 2009. Found an old picture of the kids in 2003. Thought it would be a fun way to see how much they've grown. Pretty soon I'll be lucky if they'll take a picture for me! David carved way too much an...

First day of school. After a very active summer the girls are back in school. They all started at their new schools and are just amazing on how adjusted they are to the new house, school and ward. We have been blessed to move into a ward with so many other kids their age. That has helped with the adjustment and feeling welcome! Krystal and Laura leave for Seminary at 6 am and they are doing great with getting out the door on time. (It may have something to do with Krystal being able to drive)! All procee...

Haley turned 12 on January 3rd this year. That means that she is now officially in Young Women with her sisters. Think that is what she was most excited about this year. She had a home made cake for her "real" birthday and for her party she picked a cake from the store. She had cousins and friends come to share the special day with her. It was great to have the basement finished and able to keep everyone down there. October, November, December 2012. He is mello and my surrogate David while he is away.

In October I was lucky enough to be able to attend the NARPM National Convention. Mike was wonderful and held down the fort for the days I was in DC. This was a dream trip for me and a place I have wanted to go since middle school. While there we had a chance to do some sight seeing. Matt, Danielle, Porsche, Misty, me and Alex. Did you know if you get arrested in DC it's a felony? WellI stepped away and didn't get arrested! Tomb of the Unknown Soldier (did you know there are two)? I have had an Uncle who...

Today we had to make the hard decision of putting our Ruca down. She was our escape artist but in her old age she definitely mellowed. No more dog on the roof when we pull up or chewed up fence post. She was 14 yrs old and was the best dog. Laura Rose is 14. Laura turned 14 on May 27. She is so excited to move up to the Mia Maid class at church and move into high school. So many big things for her this year. On her birthday she had a lot of cousins come to celebrate with her. Good job Laura We love you!

With all the graduations and the "fun" of the last year we decided to take the kids on a cruise. I promised them a few years ago that the next time they would be able to go. Here we are waiting to board the ship. Walking the bridge to board. A week later disembarking (a little darker and very well fed). Watching another ship leave while we were being tugged out to sea. The girls loved swimming on the ship. They swam every chance they could and loved watching movies while swimming too. Colleen Krys said t...

Happy 17 th Birthday, Krystal. Krystal turned 17 on April 21. It was a long day of Lacrosse practice and waiting for dad and David to return from a scout camp out before we can celebrate. It wasn't too back because on Friday the celebration started with Grandma Lisa taking her to get a manicure and Saturday after practice Grandma Tam took her for a pedicure and lunch. Both sessions were followed by what every 17 year old girl loves.shopping! When I figure out how, we will post it to facebook. David carve...
