Wonderful world of fibre art. Carpet Bag No 2. November 15, 2014. November 15, 2014. I have long wanted to make a carpet bag and have finally achieved it. It has been such fun both working it all out and making it. It is big and roomy and comfortable to carry. Whenever I am out with it I am stopped by ladies asking me about it and complimenting me on its design and uniqueness. So I am thinking of becoming a bag lady. My mind is alive with more ideas for bags. So this is carpet bag No. 1. October 17, 2014.

Despite the weather, my soaked shoes and my frozen toes, 'twas a lovely hike and the view of the firth was magnificent. The hike up to Fyrish Monument. The view of Cromarty Firth from Fyrish Monument. Cruise ships stop in Invergordon once a week and we were lucky enough to enjoy the local pipe band sending them off in style. Sums it up well:.
