The Marie Louise Rosenthal Library at the Field Museum, Chicago, IL. Visited October 19, 2012. The library at the Field Museum was named after Chicago philanthropist and bookbinder Marie Louise Rosenthal. I visited this library as part of a tour organized by the Student Chapter of the Society of American Archivists at Dominican University. We had the opportunity to explore the closed stacks located on the third floor of the museum and talk with Library Director Christine Giannoni.

Webster Institute for the History of Astronomy at the Adler Planetarium, Chicago, IL. Visited October 19, 2012. Photographs of the planetarium's opening day in 1930. The first entrance ticket ever sold. Personal scrapbooks of Maude Bennot, the first female director of Adler, or any planetarium, for that matter.
