May 16, 2013. One morning in April, I was sent out alone with a camera to follow a young man who was engaged in what I thought was some sort of athletics for our sport news. Little did I know then that the term ‘BotN’ is something completely different – something that involves real swords and armors made from solid steel along with colorful sigils and heavy wooden shields. That same month, I was lucky enough to get to take my camera to the local horse racing track on a wonderful sunny day in spring!
