On Tuesday we went to Woodford Methodist church to watch Evie and Matthew (Robins)and Aimee and Alex(Blackbirds) get 'married'to help the children understand about familiar family celebrations. Each couple had their own best man, bridesmaids and page boys and they all took their roles very seriously - no rings were lost! I loved the wedding because I was the bride. 18 March 2010 at 02:29. Wednesday, November 25. The children have been learning how to ask a good question to find out about toys in the past. They used question words and matched them up with part sentences to make a question that helped them learn some information. We found out that some questions starting with 'Do', 'Could', 'Was' can only have a yes or no answer but questions starting with Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How. This week we built mazes using different construction blocks and then programmed the beebots to travel through the maze. Saturday, January 16. This week because the extreme weather we decided to learn all about the big freeze. We learnt about using a thermometer to measure the temperature inside and outside the classroom. We looked at how materials change as they freeze.
