Saturday, June 30, 2012. After a week of Victorian-type weather, today is still and sunny. Our slow combustion wood heater has been fantastic. Today we're letting it go out after having had it burning day and night for close to two weeks. The ash needs removing. We've been burning red gum which is incredibly dense and heavy. Friday, July 20, 2012. 10 out of 10 coffee: Mitchell Outback Qld. A new coffee shop has opened in Mitchell, to the delight of everyone who appreciates excellent coffee. Lemon Pie Gift Shop is the venue, located alongside the Mitchell Pharmacy. Det var troligtvis den sista riktigt varma helgen den här hösten, för nu ser det faktiskt ut som att indiansommaren börjar vara över. Vi började inomhus med en kort presentation av aktiviteten geocaching: vad det handlar om, hur det hela började och hur man kommer igång. Alla var nöjda med kursen och det vackra vädret vi fick.
