My shop is open again :). Friday, February 28, 2014. I am so loving this bracelet.the colors work so great together! These Shells are some of my favs! One of a kind stone.once its gone.its gone! Leather Shell and Pearl Necklace. I made myself one like this and wear it almost everyday! Same goes for the matching earrings.love them! Just a great versatile neutral necklace! I love this Czech Bead.I only have a few of these so if the ring is a flop.they are going to be in a bracelet soon! Links to this post.

December 27, 2014. Now that Christmas is over, I can post the gifts I made for family and friends. I love nothing more than creating. Shoes I designed and created using a waterproof fine tip pen and Derwent Inktense. Finished them off with a waterproofing treatment. April 22, 2014. Well-once again-it has been too long since I have last posted. I promised myself that I would not do that again. I think that I have a good excuse this time. It was a terribly brutal winter-hibernation is not just for animals! I literally was either at work or under a blanket for months! Good news is.it has been warming up. Last weekend it was 80 degrees! December 31, 2013. Tried a new thing! I tried deconstructing a book. I have never done this before. I had an idea and 2 books later.it worked. I created a tree inside a book. I didn't add anything to the book, I just used the pages inside. I had an idea to make a tree. Imagined what it would look like, and here it is. What do you think? Give me some feedback. :). February 1, 2015. I am not a fan of winter. I do admit the snow is pretty, on the trees, in the sunlight and peaceful to watch. We really haven't had a lot of snow this winter, compared to last, but I do believe this is the first "named" winter storm we have had come through Ohio. It's name is Linus. February 4, 2014. Dreaming of Summer.and Sun. I have always loved this drawing. It makes me think of summer. I would. For it to be summer now! I am over winter and snow. It's not too cold, it's peaceful, beautiful, and you just want to absorb everything about it. There is a reason why my blog is titled "Life is Art". It's because art. Is everywhere you look. March 1, 2015. I got curious about making origami butterflies last week. I looked up instructions on line and after making about 5 in a row, I had the instructions committed to memory. Then I couldn't stop. I kept making origami butterflies. My son made the comment to me that there were. Butterflies everywhere. That's when I decided to make them fly.
