La robiola è un formaggio fresco le cui origini risalgono al Medioevo. E' un formaggio originario della cittadina di Roccaverano, in provincia di Asti, in Piemonte. E' ottenuto dalla lavorazione di latte vaccino. Si presenta in forme cilindriche, confezionate in carta per alimenti; le varianti di piccole dimensioni vengono chiamate 'robioline'.
