The sculpture was modeled in water clay, but her right hand is in oil based clay to prevent the fingers from drying and breaking off. December 8, 2014 at 11:49 PM. The exhibit will start on March 3, but several of my best and most recent bronzes won't be completed until the end of the month. In time for the April art walk which will happen in downtown Kirkland on Friday 4/10. The images below are of a five week terra cotta study.
