Sunday, May 31, 2015. The scouts in our ward come out to our house and removed the dead and mostly dead trees out back, as well as weeding the flower gardens in the front. I didn't get a head count but my guess was that we had a party of 15 young men, and not-as-young men working in our yards. We are so thankful for their service, and amazed at how quickly those awful trees disappeared. They felled a tree before I could even get a real "before" shot of the backyard. And they all fell down. Sunday, April 19, 2015. We are slowly ever so slowly settling in, so it's still a work in progress. And most of this pictures are a little out dated already. And we still don't have much on the walls, I think because of the hours spent filling in the holes it's hard to want to make new ones. Anyway, here you go. Saturday, August 15, 2015. June was pretty BUSY. here's an overview. I am still so incredibly proud of all my students! It was a wonderful recital held at the Hanford Reach Interpretive Center. A has been taking lessons for a year now, this was her 1st recital). L has been taking lessons with me since he was 4). Dance Recital- It was soooo hot! We babysat our little buddies, while their mom was with big sister at the park in 109* heat! Joseph kept Gman busy for 2 hours! With Love, Joseph and Shaylee.

Monday, August 18, 2014. Joseph's Award winning White Chili Recipe. Okay Okay, we got the recipe off pinterest. Brasilian} White Chicken Chili. 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced into 1/2-inch pieces. We suggest using a lemon pepper. Chicken to cut down prep time}. 1 small yellow onion, diced {we used a garden fresh. 1 tbsp olive oil. 2 cloves garlic, finely minced. 2 (145 oz) cans chicken broth. 1 (4 oz) can diced green chilies. 1 1/2 tsp cumin. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp ground coriander.

Sunday, March 16, 2014. We got to tour the Nutcracker stage as a Preschool, a tour with demonstrations of the growing tree, fire place, Mother Ginger and a look at the back stage areas and costumes. Miss Michelle read the Nutcracker story and Clara came and danced with us. It was magical. This was a busy busy Saturday we spent entirely together. We caught a Matinee of The Hobbit. Saturday, March 28, 2015. We are home owners! As of March 27th 2015 we own a beautiful little home in Pasco Wa. Coincidentally it's the same day that Sam and Kaelee became home owners too! No, this was not planned. But I love that it happened that way. We have decided to call our home "Mecham Manor". After we got the keys, and locked up our home for the first time.
