Germane Eclecticism: December 2006
http://germaneeclecticism.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Trying to fit round squares into peg holes since 1971! Saturday, December 30, 2006. This is the creek where I was Baptized many years ago in rural Kentucky. It's not likely to be germane to you, but I just love how the picture turned out. I was on a country drive last Wednesday morning around 7:30am when I couldn't resist taking a quick snapshot. Me, Spring 1989. Me, December 26, 2006. A few more gray hairs, a few more pounds, but still that cutting edge fashion sense! Links to this post. In a recent con...

May 8, 2013. A month ago I posted about doing a ten-day raw food detox. It was about as difficult as expected. The first four days were extremely tough, but it got easier from there. By day seven I was getting very sick of the food prep but not the food itself. Days eight through ten were almost as mentally excruciating as the first four. But we did it! And my body became healthier for it. All in all, I would highly recommend this detox from the book “ Detox for the Rest of Us. Now I have truckloads of f...

Newer posts →. September 23, 2012. My Mom and Step-Father, Steve recently closed on a 1960′s dump of a property in New Ulm, TX. But Mom and Steve are into that sort of thing and the pair are currently up there remodeling the whole joint. I’d been feeling pretty sick the last few days and almost considered cancelling today’s preplanned “ Betty and the Bear. September 19, 2012. 8220;Ceremonia...

douganderson: Going
http://douganderson.blogspot.com/2005/09/going-up.html
Friday, September 09, 2005. The trip to the Urologist. All the fun you might expect, and then some. As feared, he said they're gonna have to stick this long - well - let's not go into it now. Some people are trying to eat their breakfast, I'm sure. The good news is I'll finally get some relief (please God) from this tenacious little stone that refuses to let go. I try to keep my thoughts on that, rather than - well - you know - HOW it will happen. And I try to keep my sense of humor. And I Quote Blog.

The irregularly published ramblings of someone who finds himself at his computer too often, too long, too late. If the ideas above aren’t effective I want the use of cattle prods by New York City residents on tourists to be made legal, if not compulsory. Note: the writer makes his living from tourism. I’ve not been visible for a couple of days because (a) I have a nasty cold, and (b) I’m on the phone night and day to those. Delivery people demanding to know where. One step at a time. Was there, surrounde...

The irregularly published ramblings of someone who finds himself at his computer too often, too long, too late. Congratulations to Famous Author Rob Byrnes. Who today celebrates fifty glorious years of bloggery, or something like that. I'm very touched that Rob would not only think of me but also mention me in his blog on this very significant occasion in the life of the Internets. There’s run-of-the-mill crazy, which I encounter a lot because this. 8221; Well, you can imagine! Another day at the beach.
