Friday, June 23, 2006. A Call For Help. From an original post here. I have a project and I need the help of a few bloggers to make it work. September 11, 2006 will mark the 5-year anniversary of the attacks that killed 2,996 innocent people on American soil. A few months ago I started wondering what, if anything, I would write in my blog that day. A remembrance? Anything I came up with seemed shallow, cliché, not enough. So here’s my proposal. What help do I need? I need a name for this goofy thing.

Sunday, April 30, 2006. Hey, Mr. Young:. I must admit, even though "Sweet Home Alabama" is one of my favorite songs, I'd never understood all the words! One part is written in response to a song by Neil Young("Southern Man") which is about how eeevil and racist the south is. Well, I just read the lyrics, and considering Neil Young's latest venture. On the old Apple MacIntosh computers they had in my high school many years ago, I played the original version of SimCity on that tiny black and white screen. You know what the most fun thing about it was? Natural disasters. So I'm thinking, I know that the Civ guys want to focus on combat and that kind of thing, but wouldn't the occasional natural disaster in the 5000 years of a typical game be an interesting challeng to contend with? I was hoping somebody here would be able to help me here. I seriously doubt it's my computer, as the game worked fine on it before and I've already defragged/debugged it trying to get it to work. And I don't think it's my game disk either, as I borrowed a copy off my friend and it still didn't work. Has anyone else come across this problem before? And can anyone help? Post a new comment.
