Jul 17, 2015 Financial Planning. The Summer Budget on 8 July 2015 had some expected changes but also some unexpected ones. Some of these are now detailed. From April 2016 there will be a reduction in the 40,000 annual pension contribution allowance where income, including pension contributions, exceeds 150,000. Therefore people earning more than 110,000 are potentially caught by the change. The annual allowance will reduce by 1 for every 2 of income in excess of 150,000, down to a minimum of 10,000.
