On March 17, Lauran Ling and Euna Lee, two American journalists from Current TV in San Francisco, were apprehended by North Korean soldiers on the North Korea China border. The charges placed against them are "committing hostilities against Korean nation and illegal entry," said KCNA. They are being sentenced to 12 years of hard labour.
