http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Friday, June 27, 2008. I have a question, Mr Attenborough. Black spider: "So - this looks like a pretty safe rock, but we should have a plan in case something goes wrong.". Brown spider: "Okay, what do you have in mind? Black: "Well, I was thinking one of us should run and the other one stays back to defend the nest and attack the attacker.". Brown: "Hmmm. That's a lot of running. Maybe we should take it in turns? Spiders. I tell you.don't trust them. Links to this post. Alas, t...

Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A: August 2010
http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Monday, August 9, 2010. Have you ever wondered if water. Gets slightly offended at the fact that it's "all about the land"? For example, when a blotch of land appears in the middle of an expanse of water, we call it an "island"; but when a blotch of water appears in the middle of an expanse of land, we call it "lake" or "pond" or - even worse - "puddle". Why aren't these things called "iswaters"? Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A: Starbucks
http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2008/07/starbucks.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Thursday, July 31, 2008. With all the Starbucks stores closing across Australia over the past few days, one of the news programs did some interviews of shocked and distraught (ex)patrons of the fine establishment.the interviewer asked one lady why she was so shattered about Starbucks leaving Australia, and this antipodean young lass with a strong Aussie accent replied "Because it's an American icon.". Yeah, they were on the ball from the start. August 20, 2008 at 12:11 PM.

Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A: April 2008
http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Got some time to fill in? Go to YouTube, search for "human tetris". See you in five hours. Links to this post. I read a movie review earlier today. I forget what the movie was, but that's not the point. The point is that it described the storyline. The story of two "groups" that were after the same thing.one group was a gang of freedom fighters or samurai warriors or some band of thugs, and the other group was a "lone gunman and his partner. Excuse me Mis...

http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Friday, May 23, 2008. When will the TV producers ever learn, if you want a sit-com / drama series to have longevity, don't include the name of one of the leading characters in the title.no matter how central they are to the plot in earlier episodes, the public will eventually decide the most favoured (or - more importantly - the most despised) character for themselves, and it will inevitably be someone unexpected. Everyone loves Colonel Schultz over Hogan - come on! Voice over a...

http://cleash-a.blogspot.com/2008/08/wise-man.html
Cliche, Clique, Cleash-A. Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Once told me that, when writing newspaper articles, you should be controversial. If you are conservative then no-one gets offended, no-one gets motivated, no-one gets inspired, and - quite frankly, no-one give a shit about what you have to say. Err on the side of controversy, and at least you hear from the public and establish some sense of connection. Can anyone else hear those chirruping crickets in the distance? I am a constant reader and love it wh...
