Artichokes and Pink Martini. Sunday, July 31, 2005. What a fabulous weekend! The weather couldn't have been better, it was definitely a weekend to be out and about. Katie and I went to Ethnic Fest. At Wrights Park, not once but twice! There is Katie doing what she loves, shopping. But she showed a lot of restraint and didn't buy a thing. Artichokes and Pink Martini. Saturday, August 27, 2005. First we picked out pots that Terri and Jimmy had already thrown and fired. So many choices, so little time. The next step was to wax the parts that we wanted to remain black, like Katie is doing here, and then dip it into the glaze so it is ready to be fired. Tiffany's parents came up from California to meet their grandson, They all stopped by for lunch on Saturday. Derek behaved like a pro and slept throughout lunch so the grown ups could chat.
