Sometimes I feel that we are agreeing with one another a bit too much. So, here it goes. There's a new Sponge Bob and friends video that has been distributed by the We Are Family Foundation. Ironically, www.family.org. Aka Focus on the Family) has come out against the video because they claim it supports a gay agenda. What is wrong with us! What are we protecting?

Monday, March 31, 2003. Well, we made it back safely from California! Our flight finally arrived in Grand Rapids at 1:15am today. I guess it was today. seems like a long time ago now. We got home around 2:00am, made it to bed around 2:30am. I finally made it into the office at about 11:00am today and stumbled around in a daze most of the day! One thing that I am realizing is that we all come to the table with certain definitions and assumptions of what ministry is, what our goals are and how we achieve those goals. In our staff meetings at GLCC. What does that look like? I believe that this would better align and integrate the church, bringing us to a place where we can do a better job of helping people become fully devoted followers of Christ instead of people devoted to our programs.
