TrialReach is a London-based startup that makes it easy for patients and researchers for clinical trials to connect. This allows treatments and drugs to reach the people who need them far more quickly. Over the past year, we have been working with TrialReach to develop a set of simple and friendly illustrations for their website and brand collateral. Lennard Taylor is a fashion designer from Winnipeg, Canada, known especially for his uniquely styled denim jeans and leather holsters not for guns, but rather, cellphones and wallets. His fashions are designed and manufactured locally with the planet in mind. Our first task with the Lennard Taylor brand was to refresh its logo design. The previous version had a recognizable mark that we worked with and refined to feature cleaner lines and proportions. Custom logotype, Minion, Myriad.

We had the privilege of laying out Greg and Sheila's. 100 Summers on Lake Winnipeg: A Resort History of Victoria Beach. The book features just over 200 pages of the resort's history—right from the beginning until the present—and contains a range of fantastic photographs and documents, both old and new.

As the official family cake-maker, the only way I’ve ever had a decent vegan birthday cake in the past is to make it my god-damn self. But this birthday I had a lovely treat – Mitch and my darling hubby made the cake, and Imogen decorated it. They used Dr Fuhrman’s Hawaiian Pineapple Cake. 2 cups wholemeal flour (we always use spelt). 1 cup date sugar. 1 1/2 tsp bicarb soda. 1 cup oat milk.
