I have always felt 'at home' where ever I have lived, but this time it feels different. Genuinely, I feel I'm home and where I should be when I'm there. which is an odd feeling given we only have electricity in some rooms, only live in half the space, are constantly covered in dust and dirt, and can feel in our bones how much work we have left to do. A photo journal of our lives in France. Sunday, March 25, 2012. Spring is in the air. and life feels good! The kids can go out biking, as Emma is now on Jack's old '. Bike (a bike with no pedals but also no stabilisers) so we can now go for longer, more interesting trips. Emma's loving life at the moment as she's doing everything by herself and nappies are a thing of the (long gone) past. It's cool! But, in the meantime, where ever you are, try and sit back, enjoy the sunshine and admire the flowers!

A photo journal of our lives in France. Monday, August 13, 2012. On the way back from Provence, we stopped off in Scotland. Well, not really. We stopped off to visit some dear friends in Lozère. Which, with it's granite-rich landscapes filled with dry stane dykes. Rowan, fir and spruce trees, heather, gorse, wild pansies, bluebells and open farming fields filled with cows and some sheep, felt awfully like some place I know in Aberdeenshire. Hoping you're feeling at home where ever you are in the world!

The entire state is drenched. When the Miami airport closed down we got to hang out in the Orlando airport for several hours. Eventually, we made it to Miami, but missed our connection and got stuck for the night, without our luggage, of course, to keep things mighty. Wish us luck getting into the air today!

We Four in Egypt. Now back in the US! It’s been several weeks, and it’s still dreamy here in Dream Town. And life is mostly normal.
