I got some new lights and what a difference they make. Here are a few from Gavin's small session this morning. And not to leave Chloe out I got a new chair and she helped me test my new lights also. 4th place in kata. Yesterday was Gavin's 2nd karate tournament and he did great. He placed 4th in Kata and recieved a metal. So of course today we had to take some pictures. He couldn't stop looking at it. it was sooo cute. Above is him in his sparing gear. Loved the look on his face in this last one.

Day 6 of the 21 day organization challenge. Today is the dresser and since my husband and I don't use a dressers for clothes (we have a walk in closet - which is a week project at the least). I decided to do my daughters dresser. Here is the before and the top is out of control. She helped me with this so I am hoping that will encourage her to keep it up. This was not my original picture for today. In my attempt to be in more picture I had Gavin take a picture of my on the machine working out but it was so bad I oped for this one. Upto 26 minutes today. Gavin tested for his yellow belt along with 'Soup' (Copper) with Naihanchi. First degree"), Nidan, and Sandan. Very impressive. It is hard to tell from the picture but this is the wax paper with crayon shavings melted in the middle. By Chloe. You don't have to keep it all. You don't have to keep it all.

Thursday, September 27, 2012. After researching some woodland birthday party ideas, I decided to focus on the red and white mushrooms primarily. So my thought was "forest floor". I also wanted to make sure to have little round treats for little hands. So I had some cheese puffs, berries, mozzarella pearls, cherry tomatoes, cherries and grapes.
